Mindi is a traditional Indian card game popular for its strategic gameplay and entertainment value. Known by various names like MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, and Dehla Pakad, it is a team-based game requiring skill and tactics to secure victory.
Played with a standard 52-card deck, Mindi involves four players divided into two partnerships. The objective is to collect the most 10-numbered cards and complete numerous Coats against opponents. Each hand consists of 13 tricks, with specific rules for determining trump suits in Hide Mode and Cut Mode.
At the end of each hand, the captured cards are counted to determine the winner. Teams earn game points based on their success in capturing Tens and achieving special feats like Mendicot or a Fifty-Two card win. The first team to score 5 game points emerges as the ultimate victor.
